Killing ImpactSTORY / GAMEPLAY
Somewhere in the far future, raw materials start to deplete on Earth, so colonization in other planets is the only option, seeking for new resources. You are a member of the X-PLORER, a scientific expedition in charge of assessing resources and dangers in unexplored worlds. Your spaceship, the X-Frontier, has just landed on a new planet of the Ilugema system, 827 light years away from our solar system. Some hours ago, you left your X-Frontier on your X-Bot, a small atomic motorized exploration robot and suddenly, all communication stop. A quick diagnostic shows that your X-Com unit has failed. Now, you have no way to get in touch with the X-Frontier and you are completely lost. This is an unfriendly world; you sensed that from the very start. The planet's strange fauna starts to surround you and there is no one you can ask for help, so your only option is to link up the X-Frontier yourself. You will have to defend yourself and clear a way through those mean and deadly creatures. And this is the point where your struggle to survive starts.

GRAPHICS / SOUND
Killing Impact features excellent graphics with around 256 simultaneous colors and pretty smooth animation that make the game a candy to the eye. The sound is equally good and includes quality music and sampled sound effects that show some Atari Falcon teeth. Killing Impact is among the best games available for the 32bit Atari home computer.
